VULNERABILITY SUMMARY
Potential security vulnerabilities have been identified with HPE Vertica
Analytics Management Console. The vulnerabilities could be remotely exploited
resulting in disclosure of sensitive information or execution of arbitrary
code with root privileges.

RESOLUTION
HPE has released the following software updates to resolve the
vulnerabilities for HPE Vertica Management Console.
Vertica v7.0.1 - upgrade to v7.0.2.12 or later
Vertica v7.1.1 - upgrade to v7.1.2-12 or later
Vertica v7.2.1 - upgrade to v7.2.2-1 or later

For customers using the AMI version of the HPE Vertica Analytics platform,
please install the latest image available at Amazon
