Summary:  
EMC Documentum eRoom includes an unverified password change vulnerability that could potentially be exploited by malicious users to compromise the affected system. 

Details:  
When setting a new password for an admin user, eRoom does not require knowledge of the original password or any another form of authentication. Any malicious attacker, having physical access to any admin’s logged in session in browser or stealing the session of the admin over a non HTTPS traffic, can potentially change the admin password.


Resolution:  
The following EMC Documentum eRoom releases contain resolution to this vulnerability:
• EMC Documentum eRoom  version 7.4.5 patch 04 and later
• EMC Documentum eRoom  version 7.5 P01 and later
• EMC Documentum eRoom version 7.4.4 SP1 Hot fix

EMC recommends that all customers upgrade to one of the versions listed above at the earliest opportunity
